I was in the group too.
In fact, the handwriting is mine.
I agree the seniority must be respected but the seniority must not be the basis of superiority in every respect.
I faced this type of phenomenon in my faculty and I think this is a bar for the proper growth of the newly joined faculties.

Students sometimes fear the teachers.
For that reason, the attending the counseling should be made compulsory for the students.
