Dear all,
PLEASE FORWARD THIS WARNING AMONG FRIENDS, FAMILY, AND CONTACTS!

You should be alert during the next few days. Do not open any message with an attachment entitled 'POSTCARD FROM HALLMARK,' regardless of who sent it to you. It is a virus which opens A POST CARD IMAGE, which 'burns' the whole Hard Disc C:\ of your computer.
 
This virus will be received from someone who has your e-mail address in his/her contact list. If you receive a mail called' POSTCARD,' even though sent to you by a friend, do not open it! Remove the message immediately. This is the worst virus announced by CNN.
 
It has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive virus ever. This virus was discovered by McAfee yesterday, and there is no repairing tools yet for this kind of virus. This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where the vital information is kept.

thanks for the information of such a virus
but i think its better to just delete the mail rather than shut our pc down immediately as even if we shut it down the virus will still be there in our mail.

Thanks for your info. But recently my PC at home has affected by a virus which is damaging my files of Hard Disk. But I think its not POST CARD virus. It is affecting my HD gradually. Few audio, video, doc and jpg files already has been damaged. I don't know what should I do without formatting my PC.
