You will be happy to know that Daffodil International University will be hosting ACM-ICPC Dhaka Regional Programming Contest 2012 on 8 December at Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel
with presence of 60+ universities along with teams from China, Malaysia, India, Thailand and other Asian countries. The expectation is as many as 150 teams from 70+ universities will participate this programming contest.

The ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) is a multitier, team-based, programming competition operating under the auspices of ACM and headquartered at Baylor University (http://icpc.baylor.edu
). ACM ICPC contest involves a global network of universities hosing regional competitions that advance teams to the ACM-ICPC World Finals. Participation has grown to several tens of thousands of the young talented sharpen students and faculty members in computing disciplines more than 2,500 over universities from over 80+ countries on these six continents. This programming contest fosters creativity, teamwork, and innovation in building new software programs, and enables students to test their ability to perform under pressure through solving challenging problems in well defined timeframe.
