GMAT and GRE exams take place for a long hour at a stretch. Thus, the toughest challenge is to hold on the concentration throughout the exam duration. To overcome such stress, it is wise to read a particular number of english books/articles/newspapers so that we can keep focus on our regular practice on english.

suggestions are welcome

well, in verbal section of GMAT there are three sections: Reading Comprehension (RC), Sentence Correction (SC), and Critical Reasoning (CR).

For RC, we better follow the SAT 1 Bible (as it includes the toughest RCs ever)
For SC, we must go through Manhattan GMAT Series
For CR, we should start with Saifur's CR book and then must cover Power CR Guide

** we must not depend on English dailies. They contain very simple terminologies. It is recommended to read English literature by Wordsworth, Roosevelt, Shakespeare, Dickens, etc.

Mr. Reza,

Can you please provide some information about some books that I can go through to fine tune my writing English? What I write becomes a bit colloquial. I need to learn some business languages.

Thanks for such initiative. Hoping to have a favorable reply soon

For All, is it possible that you please rectify your mistakes while commenting on the posts in the forum. It seems very insulting when we find mistakes by business graduates.

Anam sir,

You can go through "From Paragraph to Essay" book written by Prof. Hannah. This book contains good stuff on such issues you are looking for. I hope it gonna serve your purpose.

I already have collected that book. The book is too thin to be felt effective. Is it really that necessary?

A mentor like you to take seminars on GRE would certainly be an asset for DIU. So when you gonna start?
