ISLE OF POETRY

Shah - Al - Mamun:
Wow!! This poem (Moon) is almost like a song .. you should talk to someone who can give a rhythm to this poem to convert it as a song.. it will be beautiful for sure!!

Regards,
Shah - Al - Mamun

Shamim Ansary:
All the poems in Earth are a kind of song, if you instill tempo & rhythm in that. Anyway, thank you for your encouraging comment.

bidita:
Without poems life is something with poem life is anything...Read poetry about life,,the meaning of life ,,lessons of life,,celebration of life...
It brought up a lot that needed  expression, and i expressed a lot of that through poetry....AND LAST OF ALL I LOVE POETRY

AWAIT

by Ahemed Shamim Ansary

Ignoring all dynamicity, this large metropolitan comes to a dire standstill
Cornucopia of its flora & fauna languishes despite the inundation of rain,
Thriving economy collapses as the business hub has not a bit sap to instill
Vendors divest them of goods; productivity of the entire city goes in vain.

Excruciating vacuity & anesthesia overwhelm the city’s whole spectrum
Virgins’ exquisite floral adornments fall short to distract the young men,
Diurnal motion of the sun perishes because there is stagnancy humdrum
Noble cosmopolitans are deterred from panning out a welfare campaign.

Dwellers are no more imbued with patriotism, verve & vital civic sense
Closed Market; no export-import; no sports: only embedded distraction
Inert Media; tarnished morality; Scaramouch plummets in dismay, tense
Lethargic Admin; insecure Citadel; contused Medicare; spoiled Education

I’m the most impecunious & experiencing dissuasion from everything
Thine sole return in this metropolis can fetch up normalcy- but nothing.

ETERNAL DEPARTURE

by Ahemed Shamim Ansary

How uncertain our life is! And mysterious
We are in agony and, sometimes hilarious.
Ecstasy brims over our lives time to time
Soul & body encounter affliction in mime.

You could come and contribute the earth
Could shoulder duty by illustrious birth.
Is it wise to leave early the world poignant?
But to show tolerance of this, why we can’t?

In this world, your existence is never to find
Your un-timed exit we’ll ever keep in mind.
All have to depart one day— before or after
Titanic or tiny, no way to escape the hereafter.

* Eternal Departure is written in memorization of and in dedication to my unseen dear one, who has left the earth prematurely.
