                               Past  continuous

Structure:  subject + was / were + verb + ing + extension.

Example:   Sakiba was swimming in the drain for catching fish.

Negative: subject + was/were not + v+ ing +others.
=
Interrogative: was/were +s +v +ing + others?
=
Neg+int : was/weren’t +s +v +ing + others?

Structure:  subject + verb – past form + extension.

Example:   Munni  slapped    Mitu    .

Negative: sub + did/ was/were/ had not + v-present form +others.

Interrogative: was/were/had/did +s + v-present form + others?

Neg+int:  was/were/had/did not +s + v-present form + others?

                         Present perfect continuous:

Structure:  subject + have been + verb + ing + extension.

Example: The mad has been miscalling me for the whole night.

Negative: subject + has/have not been+ v + ing +others.

Interrogative:  has/have + s+ been+ v + ing + others

Neg+int = has/haven’t +s + been + v + ing + others?

Structure:  subject + have + verb-p .p + extension.

Example: The patient has recovered.

Negative: subject + has/have not + v- p. P +others.

Interrogative:  has/have + s + v – p. P + others?
