In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
شروع الله کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے
As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu
[Sahih Muslim : Book 37, Book Name Kitab Al-Tauba Number 6662]
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (Radi Allah Anhu) reported Allah's Messenger (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) as saying:
"There was a person before you who had killed ninety-nine persons and then made an inquiry about the learned persons of the world (who could show him the way to salvation). He was directed to a monk. He came to him and told him that he had killed ninety-nine persons and asked him whether there was any scope for his repentance to be accepted. He said: No. He killed him also and thus completed one hundred. He then asked about the learned persons of the earth and he was directed to a scholar, and he told him that he had killed one hundred persons and asked him whether there was any scope for his repentance to be accepted. He said: Yes; what stands between you and the repentance? You better go to such and such land; there are people devoted to prayer and worship and you also worship along with them and do not come to the land of yours since it was an evil land (for you). So he went away and he had hardly covered half the distance when death came to him and there was a dispute between the angels of mercy and the angels of punishment. The angels of mercy said: This man has come as a penitent and remorseful to Allah and the angels of punishment said: He has done no good at all. Then there came another angel in the form of a human being in order to decide between them. He said: You measure the land to which he has drawn near. They measured it and found him nearer to the land where he intended to go (the land of piety), and so the angels of mercy took possession of it. Qatada said that Hasan told him that it was said to them that as death approached him, he crawled upon his chest (and managed) to slip in the land of mercy."
حضرت ابو سعيد خدرى رضى الله تعالى عنه سے روایت ہے کہ الله کے نبی الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا تم میں سے پہلے لوگوں میں ایک آدمی نے ٩٩ جا نوں (انسانوں ) کو قتل کیا - پھر اس نے اہل زمین میں سے سب سے بڑے عالم کے بارے میں پوچھا- بس اس کی ایک راہب (عبادت گزر ) کی طرف راہنمائی کی گئی - وو اس کے پاس آیا تو کہنے لگا اس نے ننا نوے جانوں کو قتل کیا ہے - کیا اس کے لئے توبہ کا کوئی راستہ ہے ؟ اس راہب (عبادت گزر ) نے کہا نہیں بس اس نے اس راہب (عبادت گزر ) کو قتل کر کے ١٠٠ سو پورے کر دیے پھر زمین والوں میں سے سب سے بڑے عالم کے بارے میں پوچھا تو ایک عالم کی طرف راہنمائی کی گئی - اس نے کہا میں نے سو ١٠٠ آدمیوں کو قتل کیا ہے کیا میرے لئے توبہ کا کوئی راستہ ہے ؟ تو اس عالم نے کہا جی ہاں اس کے اور توبہ کے درمیان کیا چیز رکاوٹ بن سکتی ہے - تم اس جگہ کی طرف جاؤ- وہاں پر موجود کچھ لوگ الله کی عبادت کر رہے ہیں تم بھی ان کے ساتھ عبادت الہی میں مصروف ہو جاؤ اور اپنے علاقے کی طرف لوٹ کر نہ آنا کیوں کے وو بری جگہ ہے پس وہ چل دیا یہاں تک کہ جب آدھے راستے پر پنہچا تواس کی موت واقع ہو گئی پس اس کے بارے میں رحمت کے فرشتے اور عذاب کے فرشتے جگھڑ پڑے رحمت کے فرشتوں نے کہا یہ توبہ کرتا ہوا اپنے دل کو الله کی طرف متوجہ کرتا ہوا آیا اور عذاب کے فرشتوں نے کہا اس نے کوئی بھی نیک عمل نہیں کیا پس پھر ان کے پس ایک فرشتہ آدمی صورت میں آیا اسے انھوں نے اپنے درمیاں ثالث فیصلہ کرنے والا مقرر کر لیا تو اس نے کہا دونوں زمینوں کی پیمائش کر لو پس وہ جس زمین کے دونوں میں سے قریب ہو وہی اس کا حکم ہو گا پس اہنوں نے زمین کو ناپا تو اسی زمین کو کم پایا جس کا اس نے ارادہ کیا تھا پس پھر رحمت کے فرشتے نے اس پر قبضہ کر لیا حضرت حسن رحمتہ الله عليه نے کہا ہمیں ذکر کیا گیا جب اس کی موت واقع ہوئی تو اس نے اپنا سینا اس زمین سے دور کر لیا تھا جہاں سے چلا تھا

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Qatida with the same chain of transmitters but (with this variation of wording):" Allah commanded the earth (from where) he wanted to come out to move itself away and to the other earth (where he wanted to go) to draw nearer."
یہ حدیث مبارکہ اس سند سے بھی قتادہ کی روایت کردہ حدیث کی طرح مروی ہے البتہ اس روایت میں اضافہ یہ ہے کہ الله عزو جل نے اس زمین کو جہاں سے وہ چلا تھا حکم دیا کہ دور ہو جا اور اس زمین کو جہاں کا اس کا اس نے ارادہ کیا تھا حکم دیا کہ تو قریب ہو جا
[Sahih Muslim : Book 35, Book Name Kitab Al-Dhikr Number 6525]
Abu Huraira (Radi Allah Anhu) reported Allah's Messenger (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) as say- ing: He who seeks repentance (from the Lord) before the rising of the sun from the west (before the Day of Resurrection), Allah turns to him with Mercy.
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضى الله تعالى عنه سے مروی ہے کہ رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا جس نے سورج کے مغرب سے طلوع ہونے سے پہلے توبہ کر لی تو الله تعالى اس کی توبہ قبول کر لے گا - سورج کے مغرب سے نکلنے کے بعد توبہ قبول نہ ہو گی اسی طرح موت کے فرشتوں کو دیکھنے کے وقت توبہ قابو نہ ہی گی اور نہ اس کی وصیت نافذ ہو گی

Abu Mu'sa (Radi Allah Anhu) reported Allah's Messenger (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) as saying that Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, Stretches out His Hand during the night so that the people repent for the fault committed from dawn till dusk and He stretches out His Hand daring the day so that the people may reprint for the fault committed from dusk to dawn. (He would accept repentance) before the sun rises in the west (before the Day of Resurrection).
ضرت موسیٰ رضى الله تعالى عنه نبی کریم صلى الله عليه وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں الله رب العزت رات کے وقت اپنا ہاتھ پھیلاتا رہتا ہے تا کہ دیں کے گنہگار کی توبہ قبول کرے اور اپنا ہاتھ دیں کو پھیلاتا رہتا ہے تا کہ رات کے گنہگار کی توبہ قبول کرے یہاں تک کے سورج مغرب سے طلوع ہو قرب قیامت میں

Our Lord! grant us good in this world and good in the hereafter, and save us from the chastisement of the fire.
اے پروردگار ہم کو دنیا میں نعمت عطا فرما اور آخرت میں بھی نعمت بخشیو اور دوزخ کے عذاب سے محفوظ رکھیو
