Wimax internet base exceeds 500,000

Bangladesh ended June with 35.63 million internet users, up from 33.81 million in May, according to figures from the BTRC.

Of the total 33.90 million are mobile internet users, up from 33.19 million a month earlier, and 1.22 million are fixed internet users, similar to the number in May.

The Wimax internet base grew to 5,04,808 from 497,741 Wimax internet users in the prior month.
