Abu Sa'id Khudri reported Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) as saying: Avoid sitting on the paths. They (the Companions) said: Allah's Messenger, we cannot help but holding our meetings (in these paths) and discuss matters (there). Thereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: If you insist on holding... meetings, then give the path its due right. They said: What are its due rights? Upon this he said: Lowering the gaze, refraining from doing harm, exchanging of greetings. commanding of good and forbidding from evil.(Muslim Bk 26,No 5376)

Abu Huraira [RAZIALLAHU-ANHU] said, "I heard Allah's Apostle(SALLALLAHU ALEIHI WASALLAM) saying, 'The reward of a prayer in congregation is twenty five times greater than that of a prayer offered by a person alone. The angels of... the night and the angels of the day gather at the time of Fajr prayer.' " Abu Huraira [RAZIALLAHU-ANHU] then added, "Recite the Holy Book if you wish, for indeed, the recitation of the Qur'an in the early dawn (Fajr prayer) is ever witnessed. " (17.18).

Anas(Peace be upon him) narrated: "Prophet(Sallallahu'Alai'Wa'Sallam) entered the Masjid & he found a rope tied between the two pillars. He said: "What is this?" They said: "It is for Zainab. She prays & when she feels tired. she holds it." He said: "Untie it. Let one pray as long as he is energetic, when he becomes ti...red, let him sit down (i.e., stop praying)."
