Some people say you can tell which country the phone is manufactured in by checking the last numbers in the IMEI code (Mobile Equipment Identity). To get your phones IMEI code type *#06 #. According to this theory you should look at the number 7 and 8 (YY) of your IMEI code. There must be some misunderstanding regarding this because there are phones that say Made in Finland and according to the IMEI code the country is Hungary. My IMEI code for a Nokia N70 says 00 and Made in Finland. Here is a list of the IMEI country numbers (note that this is speculation, not facts).
10 = Finland
20 = Germany
30 = Korea
40 = China
50 = Brazil, USA, Finland
60 = HK, China, Mexico
70 = Finland
80 = Hungary
91 = Finland
