Johnson thanks 'mentor' Lillee for 'always being in his corner'
« on: November 25, 2013, 03:26:32 PM »
Australian Test bowler Mitchell Johnson has said that he needs to say a big thanks to mentor Dennis Lillee with whom he has been in touch with since the legend first saw him when he was 17.

According to News.com.au, Johnson revealed that the first meeting was when he came to Brisbane for a fast bowling clinic there. He added that to have a legend of the game in his corner and to be able to talk to about cricket was an amazing thing.

Asked last night if he saw fear in the English batsmen''s eyes, Johnson smiled and baulked at adding fuel to the inferno created by David Warner, according to the report. However, he promised that he would continue his bumper war in the second Test in Adelaide, the report said.
