Tottenham eyeing Morata loan
« on: November 27, 2013, 11:25:39 AM »
Daily Mail has suggested that Tottenham Hotspur are considering a loan deal for Real Madrid starlet Alvaro Morata.

Despite adding a number of attacking reinforcements in the summer, Spurs have largely struggled up front this term, notching mere 9 goals in 12 Premier League games.

And the 6-0 defeat to Manchester City seems to have been the last drop as Andre Villas-Boas is keen to add few more quality players to his ranks in the winter.

According to Daily Mail, Spurs will attempt to sign Spanish striker Alvaro Morata on a six-month loan from Real Madrid, although that is likely to prove a difficult task.

Namely, Carlo Ancelotti is highly unlikely to sanction such a deal unless he signs a new centre forward in January.

In spite of the embarrassing defeat at Etihad last weekend, Spurs sit just two points behind fourth-placed Citizens and are priced at 3/1 to achieve a top 4 finish.
