Teaching evaluation process is very initiative step to find out real problem between teachers and students as because when teacher tought the students he never find out what's his/her lakings regarding teaching and most of the students cound not tell the problem face to face but they can reply through teaching evaluation process. In this regards I belive It is essential

We all know that DIU is a digital university. Teaching evaluation is must for every students. Without completion of teaching evaluation, course/semester result of a student can't be published. Every students of DIU must fill it. Even now, some of the students failed to fill it. Students must be aware about it and fill it with in the given period of time.
It was made to measure the efficiency of teachers. How a teacher design his/her course, deliver lectures, identify the understanding level of the students, give practical/topic related examples, students participation on the lecture, etc all r needed to successfully complete a course.

Hi everyone,

But something here that is to be put into stricter consideration:

a) A majority of the students are filling the teachers evaluation only for the sake of getting the academic result... a majority of them (especially at uttara campus, i am not sure about the dhanmondi one) are simply clicking on "good"... on every criteria... just and just for the sake of it... not even understanding what the criteria means... or highlights.

b) are the evaluations given any importance by the respective authority? or are they treated in the same way as a majority of the STUDENTS treat them?
Always strive for what you deserve, do not be satisfied with any lesser.

Hello!

The teaching evaluation of Daffodil International University is very unique and hassle free as it is being managed completely online. Students must understand that there is nothing to be afraid of to put their actual feedback. However I would request all not to miss use the system as the teaching quality of the university very much depend on it.

The criteria is designed strategically to help the students with the teaching evaluation. If the students just go through the criteria set there and put their actual feedback on those criteria the authority will be able to get the actual picture. So the students are to place their feedback according to the criteria instead of random markings.

And yes the authority carefully observes the teaching evaluation each semester. The authority has system to generate graph report on the teaching evaluation from which they can easily understand if the evaluation is valid or not. So for students who try to degrade or over-grade their teachers need to understand that their attempts are not working well...On the other hand if they put the actual feedback it is sure to be counted.

Regards,

Shah - Al - Mamun
