A three-day international tourism fair will be held next month in the city.
The 4th Bangladesh International Tourism Fair (BITF), scheduled for June 19-21, is being organised by Bangladesh Foundation for Tourism Development (BFTD) and Association of Travel Agents of Bangladesh (ATAB).
Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Bangladesh Tourism Board, Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of commerce and Industry (FBCCI), Bangladesh Inbound Tour Operators Association (BITOA) and Bangladesh International Hotel Association (BIHA) will also support the annual event, said a release.
The fair will be inaugurated by the Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Rashed Khan Menon while President of FBCCI Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed will attend the occasion as Special Guest.
Participants from North America, Europe, Middle East and South Asia are expected to set up more than 150 stalls.
These will include Travel Agents, Tour operators, hotels and resorts, card sellers, hospitals, institutions, airlines, financial institutions, online sellers and other tourism service providers.
