Mam

The presentation development program will be under intensive care, right.  That means you are going to find out our faults that we will make and tell us how to improve them

Objectives:

Much has been changed in recent years along with the ever increasing range of presentation tools and their respective feature-set which has lead to inappropriate use due to lack of appropriate knowledge of the presenters. To address these issues, the workshop covers a set of ‘Best Practices’ so that students know what to avoid during the preparation and delivery of their presentations. This workshop focuses on the latest practices in presentation skills especially in business and academic environments. It contains a pre-workshop assignment where students are required to prepare a presentation individually. During the workshop, they will learn how to improve their presentation afterwards; they will deliver different presentations to be evaluated based on a set of performance criteria. Students will be able to practice their presentation at home after learning a number of key tips during the first day and proceed to present their updated version during the next days for evaluation and feedback. Video footage of these demo presentations will be taken out to pinpoint and mitigate the problem areas. At the final day there will be a group presentation formed by the participants. On the basis of the evaluation of the presentations by the participants first three presenters will be rewarded.

In this highly practical workshop students will be expected to learn:

•  How to approach the design of a presentation and learn which areas they need to focus on most?
•  What questions do students need to ask themselves?
•  How to use a minimal slide design to get maximum effect?
•  How to structure the slides to get maximum effect?
•  What to avoid when designing the slides fro presentation?
•  How to deliver a presentation with reduced anxiety?
•  How to have the correct body language so that students come across as ‘great’ presenter?
•  How to become a communicator rather than act only as a presenter?
•  How not to bore the crowd?
•  How to handle questions?
•  How to take advantage of the environment?
•  What not to do during presentations which may undermine the presenters and their messages?

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

•  Identify the fundamental parameters of a good presentation
•  Design high-impact slides that deliver their message efficiently
•  Deliver their presentation with confidence and leave a positive and memorable experience for the audiences
•  Control the environment to have the highest impact

It is NOT what you say, but how you say it is.

“It usually takes more than three weeks to prepare a good impromptu speech.”  Mark Twain
Those who worship the natural elements enter darkness (Air, Water, Fire, etc.). Those who worship sambhuti sink deeper in darkness. [Yajurveda 40:9]; Sambhuti means created things, for example table, chair, idol, etc.

Dear Madam:

I am very grateful to you for your Workshop on Executive Presentation Skill Development under Intensive Care. Every semester we have to face a presentation or viva per course. We get only few minutes to present ourselves. From my two years experience, I can say it’s not enough time to be a good presenter. We have to give more efforts to develop our presentation skill. We are very lucky that you and Ms. Zinnatun Nesa create this opportunity.

I want to suggest my friends for registration; those are wanted to increase their confidence in presentation. Don’t be shames….!
