Its a very good idea. Most of the student feels hesitate during the presentation. Students feels nervous. Our varsity always try to solve this kind of problem and for this many seminar, workshop held. But I think most of the students are not that much conscious about this. So I think specially for developing our presentation skill, when any workshop held about this in our varsity, it should make mandatory for all the students.

We are looking for students with competitive skills of presentation. We thank those who have pointed this prime need of the students of present days. We shall try to organize workshop on this issue. But first, awareness is needed among the students. Situation will not change unless we, anyhow, grab the attitude of improving our presentation skills.

Good Reasons to give a presentation:

To give the audience an intuitive feel for your idea

To entice them to read your paper

In short: To engage, excite, and provoke the audience

Your Mission: Wake up your audience and make them happy they did

Rule# 11: Don't make the speech too big

Rule# 12: Conclude the speech with a message: ebarer songram sadinotaar songram, ebarer songram amader mukteer songram

1. Tell them what you are going to tell them.

2. Then tell them.

3. Tell them what you have told them.

4. Test them

“It usually takes more than three weeks to prepare a good impromptu speech.”  Mark Twain

When it comes to using voice in presentation, please try to do as follows:

1. Vary Pitch.
2. Change Speaking Speed.
3. Use Vocal Emphasis.
4. Develop Pleasant Voice Quality.
5. Improve Through Self-Analysis and Imitation

Rule #12 Questions are good
Questions are not a problem
Questions are a golden opportunity to connect with your audience
Specifically encourage questions during your talk: pause briefly now and then, ask for questions
Be prepared to truncate your talk if you run out of time.  Better to connect, and not to present all your material

Rule #13 Know your Presentation Program
(PPT, Keynote

Use animation effects

Rule #14 Never ever run over time
