consistency of long chain fatty acids in sperata Aor

ABM Nazmul Islam:
in our study conducted on Sperata Aor,   the muscle lipid from this specimen contained lower amounts of unsaturated fatty acids. This was also supported by iodine value. Again the value was higher than the refractive index of coconut oil, consistent with (44-52%) lauric acid C12 and has the refractive index 1.4530 at 30ºC. This value indicates that the lipid sample consistent with long chain fatty acids.
