ashiqbest012:
An academic major, major concentration, concentration, or simply major is a college or university student's main field of specialization during his or her undergraduate studies which would be in addition to, and may incorporate portions of, a core curriculum. The university department offering the major defines a framework for this specialized portion of a student's studies, including a certain number of required courses and a certain number of freely chosen courses relevant to the major.

Students do the major courses for increasing their knowledge in specific arena.
Now the question is :
Who has the authority to conduct the major course?
Students do not know about it. We want to know about it. Does any new lecturer can take major courses or existing faculty members/ Professor/ Assistant professor can take this course?
ashiqbest012:
Please describe it anyone from our university perspective.

The students of BBA department are depressed to see the course distribution schedule. We don't know the meaning of "NT" beside the major courses and functional courses. We have seen these words beside the Financial Analysis & control ( 2 Sec), Working Capital Management (2 Sec), Financial Institution and capital Market (2 sec) etc.
Md. Minhaz Khan:
The authority should not do it. A major course should conduct by Professor/ Assistant professor but our university is really unique. Thank you Mr. Ashiq Hossain. You really nicely represent the reality.
Al Mamun Bhuiyan:
Authority should give empasis on the registration because major course will be continued by the new teacher. This is very important issues for the BBA course. If possible try to increase the no. of section and also seat capacity. We will be highly satisfied if the authority takes any steps immediately.
