Do you know Mr. Papon who has come to our university? 1. New lecturer ( Who don't have any experience).

Thank you Limon.

I am really confused who can perform what! So far my experience with universities from Bangladesh to India and India to USA found that lot’s of young teachers (NT) cultivated my brain tremendously and reverses with so called seniors.

I don’t know what you people want actually but can rethink before posting against any NTs who are still unknown to you.

Let’s be developmental by accepting new people with new knowledge and skills those can help you meet 21st centuries challenges nicely.

Cheers,

Raju

Firstly, thank you MR. Raju sir for your valuable posting. We are very sorry for that, but We were asked to the authority to inform us the meaning of NT since 3 days. As you can see in this topic , nobody gives us any answer. We have seen the last three semester, there are no experienced teacher comes to our university. An unknown(NT) lecturer how can conduct a major course? We don't understand.

I again say you, students are  very much depressed. Whatever I have written here, everything is student demand.

In this semester, I have taken Financial Analysis and control, Financial Institution and market courses both subjects will be taken by NT. I am worried about my result. As we know a new teacher don't have a proper plan to teach us. Well, we always expect to learn more things through major course. We don't know how far we will go. I hope NT will teach us well.

Dear Mr. Ashiq,
I know that as a student you are concern about your courses and worried if a new teacher can take your classes properly or not? You will be happy to know that DIU goes through several steps to recruit a new teacher/faculty to ensure that he/she has the skills and capabilities to conduct the assigned course(S).
So I recommend students to give new faculties a chance to prove their skills. Observe how a new teacher is teaching you and if you do not like it or feel that the new teacher do not have the necessary skills to teach properly, then approach your department coordinator and let him know of the problem. He will take steps to solve the problem. Give him some times and then if the problem remains approach your department head. If this does not help too then approach honorable Registrar Sir. If you follow these steps I am sure that problem regarding teacher's performance wont be there anymore.

Please note that you must go through all these steps with good and appropriate manner.

Regards,
Shah - Al - Mamun

Dear students,

I completely agree with Mr. Shah Al Mamun. Please don't predict earlier that someone is going to be bad. I agree that a new teacher might NOT have that lesson plan to teach, but i have seen many new teachers who are doing well. Still you have the option of approaching the Head of the Dept. when all of you are sure that you are not learning anything. Please don't forget to communicate with the teacher about everything on your course. We will certainly give you those teachers who are able.

Warmly,

Dear Students
Please read the message of Shah Al Mamun & Shibli Sir. Try to cope up with the situation please. Do you think that our Authority will plunge you in an inferior position?? Be positive. If faced any problem, communicate with the Head of the Department directly.
Thank you

Dear Students,

Thanks for all the passions. I have seen many teachers since 8 years and I have gathered many experiences regarding these. I want to give an example regarding a young teacher. Every body already hared the name Mr. Mehdi Hussin sir. He is a senior lecturer, but is the best teacher of DIU. He already proved his caviler, experience, sincerity, behavior etc. He is a very young teacher. My opinion: “who is Senor or Junior that is not the fact, the fact is he/she is doing his duty accurately or not”.

Dear students,

Lots of our new faculty members doing well in our university.Their teaching performance and capability is satisfactory. More over DIU  always maintain a standard teaching recruitment process. So if the new teachers' or faculty members' performance is not satisfactory level then pls communicate to the head of the department.

Thanks all, special thanks to Mr. Shah-Al-Mamun for his nice post.

Dear Shibli Sir,
Thanks to suggest us for not to predict earlier that someone is going to be bad. But a bad experience in my last semester with a new teacher is force to predict about a new teacher. He was conducting a very important subject. Sorry to say, I can’t learn any thing on that subject. Not only me but also the all of my class mates can’t learn any thing from him. I write everything about that teacher on teacher evaluation form. But its not work……! He selected again for that subject in this fall semester. If authority can feel the problem then I hope they will take the right step.

I also hope that, the new teachers from this semester will do very good, we can learn from them a lot, & authority can able to decrease the good teacher turn over rate very successfully.

It is my pleasure, you all the faculty members. Administrative officials have made this post meaningful.

At first I want to say, some teachers have been already leaved from our university, and I personally contracted with some of them with my own interest. They shared with me their views and discuss with me why they leave from our university.

Anyway, you all expressed your opinion nicely. I will not argue with you. I just want to tell you, if all of you make me Lecturer, I will not perform well. It is the reality. At first I have to understand the situation, environment, how to teach, what will I teach, what will be their syllabus, etc. As we know one semester is not enough time to match with the environment. (Mr. Shibli sir said) If I am experienced teacher and come to another university, then it is a totally different thing.

In the last semester, I have done a course named " Operations Research" taken by Md. Mahbub Parvez sir. He is really genius. During this course, He was tough us a chapter named " Inventory". I didn't understand a term. I didn't ask him anything, but I don't know how he read my mind and asked me "Where is your problem, Ashiq" When he teaches us, he always gives us the example and how to use this term, where to use. He used to say us different types of  education related stories.

In my university life, I have got only a course of Assistant professor, and I obtained a grade A- in this subject.

Thank you Mr. Shah al manun sir... I always remember it all of these things and thank you sir for gives us the way how to communicate with senior faculties.

I say all of you that sir if you are a student of DIU like me you also protect like me. None of the students want that a NT will take our major course. It may be possible he/she may teach well. On the other hand, he/she mayn't.
