shibli:
Thank you, Madam.

@ shahin, we, people, learn by making mistakes, some learn by experience, some try to learn from peer advice while others never learn, they like to go to 'Bel tola' again and again...so, we need programming in mind, first of all, "make habits, then habits will make you" because Dr. Samual Johnson said the chains of the habit are too weak to be felt until they are too strong to be broken"

As a mater of fact, some of your time should be deliberately and wisely invested in self-improvement. You are the only thing in life over which you have a great deal of control. You are the one asset that can never be lost or stolen. Doesn't it make sense to invest time and money in improving that asset?

Some quotations to follow:

"Laws are never as effective as habits." Adlai Stevenson

"If you create an act, you create a habit.
If you create a habit, you create a character.
If you create character, you create a destiny" Emile Herzog, French Novelist

shibli:
If we want to know ourselves, we should know the purpose of every work we do..ask ourselves always-what and why??? Co-relate our missions with our vision. A fool has got no purpose of doing anything....

bidita:

Life become so much grateful because our teachers concern about our life and every step they suggest what is a purpose of life and our destination and they also try to focus that we are the one and we will be the best person in this world when we attention our studies first and balance our extra curricular activities...

Thank you all for being with us....

shibli:
Students should deliberately and wisely invest some of their time in self-improvement. Thus, they can assess their SWOT(strength, weakness, opportunity and threat) and write them down on e-portfolio. Only having a purpose of every activity in mind won't make them successful unless and until they carry it every moment to fulfill. Their sense of purpose will drive and pursue them to finish their daily responsibilities. So, i think they can write "To do" list everyday or very week in their e-portfolio and accomplish them accordingly. Teachers can check their portfolio every month and advise them as such whether they are on the right track..

farzanamili:
yes, this listing works! I want to share one thing that when I was studying in Fourth year in University of Chittagong, that time Department of Law was not opened by DIU but I had aim to be a lecturer of Law in DIU. In the mean time,Department started its journey & now I am a Lecturer here! So my dream came true! If you chase after one thing whole-heartedly,insha Allah one day you will get it...just keep faith on your dream & have patience & of course do something original to fulfil your dream....:)...May Allah help us in fulfilling our dream...
