After a long time, finally i could manage my time to join the workshop which was held on 27th June. The topic was-
" Note taking, self study skills mind mapping" as well as " Time management of a student "

It was really nice and seems very helpful to me.

I would like to thank Dr. Yousuf M. Islam Sir to allow me in the workshop with the 1st year-1st semester students.
i would also like to thank our University Authority for arranging this sort of useful workshop.

As a senior student of CSE Dept. i wish the new students will be very grateful by joining the workshop.

I cordially request Dr. Yousuf M. Islam Sir to announce the schedule of the workshop on the Noticeboard, which will help the other students who do not know about the workshop .

Thank U

Life-skill course
« Reply #11 on: July 02, 2009, 07:44:35 PM »
Dear Sir
This is my personal opinion. A "life-skill" course can be introduced for the last semester students of all departments of DIU to make them well equipped with the interview tips and techniques, job search process and necessary English language skills in order to brush up their communication skills, which they already learnt in English and Business Communication courses.

In addition, time management, stress management, corporate behaviour and other related topis can be incorporated in the course.

What do you  think?

Best regards

Mind Map :: Exclusive way to make link with Ideas & thoughts
« Reply #14 on: July 09, 2009, 01:06:05 AM »
Mind Map

A mind map is a diagram used to represent words, ideas, tasks, or other items linked to and arranged around a central key word or idea. Mind maps are used to generate, visualize, structure, and classify ideas, and as an aid in study, organization, problem solving, decision making, and writing.

The elements of a given mind map are arranged intuitively according to the importance of the concepts, and are classified into groupings, branches, or areas, with the goal of representing semantic or other connections between portions of information. Mind maps may also aid recall of existing memories.

By using mind map you can easily note down any ideas, thoughts. You will be able to keep a lot of ideas, plan, thoughts by mind map.

So we should use mind map.
