ধূমকেতুতে জৈব অণু!

ধূমকেতুতে ‘জৈব উপাদানের’ চিহ্ন পেয়েছে রোবটযান ফিলে। সেখানকার পৃষ্ঠতল বিজ্ঞানীদের ধারণার চেয়েও বেশি শক্ত। সিক্সটিসেভেনপি নামের ধূমকেতুতে অবতরণকারী প্রথম মহাকাশযানটির পাঠানো তথ্য-উপাত্তের নমুনা দেখে গত মঙ্গলবার এসব তথ্য জানিয়েছেন বিজ্ঞানীরা। ব্যাটারি শেষ হয়ে যাওয়ায় ফিলে শনিবার থেকে তথ্য পাঠানো বন্ধ রাখে। এটি বর্তমানে সূর্যের দিকে প্রতি সেকেন্ডে ১৮ কিলোমিটার গতিতে ছুটছে। ধূমকেতুতে জৈব উপাদানের উপস্থিতি নিশ্চিত হলে পৃথিবী সৃষ্টি সম্পর্কে নতুন দিক উন্মোচিত হবে। এএফপি।
