Asia Summer Program 2014, Malaysia

The ASP is a three-week credit-based program offering innovative perspectives on Asia. Participating students experience a highly international environment, allowing them to learn directly about the diverse cultures of Asia. This year Asia Summer program-2014 (ASP) took place in Univeristi Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) from 5-25 August 2014 where over 230 students from more than 25 universities of 12 countries attended with enthusiasm.

Like last year ASP 2013, this year from Bangladesh a team of 33 students and 5 faculty members of Daffodil International University joined in Asia Summer program-2014. These 5 faculty members’ taught students from around the Asia and gained lots of multi dimensional experience of teaching.

Students of DIU not only attended the credit based courses but also took part in different cultural, social, tours, sports activities and represented Bangladesh in a new focus. These DIU students will get credit exemption (courses completed at ASP) in university regular degree program. Daffodil International University (DIU) will also join next year Asia Summer Program-2015 with a good number students and teachers. This is to be mentioned that DIU announced to host Asia Summer Program-2018 in Dhaka for the first time in the history of Bangladesh.
