How to be a popular teacher

<< < (6/10) > >>

toma:
A good teacher is a good learner. He/she learns all through life and gets enriched thereby. As a result a good teacher is a process not a product. I mean it is an endless endeavor rather than something ready-made.Besides, the private university scenario has changed the age-old concept of teacher-student relationship or the time-worn water-tight definition of a good teacher.

shamsi:
Dear Shibli Sir,

Thank you for sharing the honest expression of a teacher you came across. It is true that it is not only important that our students' like the way we are but it is equally important whether we are able to disseminate the knowledge we are supposed to.A teacher is never satisfied if he or she fails to motivate the learners to have interest in the respective topics they teach.

I wish you all the best.

by proper justification.................

I also do agree with Shampa mam and Shibli sir about the popular teacher and a good teacher.

A teacher should always be good and combine humanistic psychology with constructivism in his/her phylosophical background of teaching.A teacher should try to be a good teacher rather than popular.
