Can anybody tell me how many mistakes are there?

Norwich is a fine city according to the signs which welcomes you as you arrives in the city outskirts.

There is interesting city walks through the old narrow streets and by the river, and there is many medieval buildings.

Boat trips regularly leaves the city to join the river Yare.

These are man  made waterways which covers much of the west side.

Why Do we Need 'Voice Change'

Read  the following two sentences:

Aslam plays football.
Football is played by Aslam.

There is no difference between the two sentences but in the first sentence the subject acts or complete the job and in the second sentence the subject is acted upon or the object becomes the subject.

Another example

This year 500 core taka is allocated for road construction.

Who allocated this money, ...... off course the government but in this sentence
the government (the subject) is hidden because it is a passive voice.
Here the action is more important than the subject.

1.In spite of the unpreparedness,  The 1st group      got        14 out 15           in the quiz.
                                              __________         ___        _______
Sub                    Verb        Object(what the 1st group got?)

14 Out of 15      was got      by the 1st group
                                              ___________     ________    ______________

Object becomes   Verb       Subject becomes complement
                                               subject

Now try these two.Find the subject ,verb and object.

2.He puts trust on his friends.

3.Finally the ministry finds no one to lead the project.
