Road Accident

Most of the time we can see many people cross the road without over bridge or zebra crossing. They think if they use over bridge or zebra crossing to cross the road, their time will waste. As a result they have accident. Everyday we listen through the news that, today 'X' number of people have died by road accident. It's so much painful.

There are some tips that will help us:

 1) Pay attention to the road. Avoid doing things in your car (i.e. talking on the cell phone, searching for a CD, looking for a radio station, eating, drinking, reading, getting into a deep discussion with a passenger, etc.) that will distract you from the road.

2) Follow at a safe distance from the vehicle in front of you (which includes merging onto the freeway). A good distance is at least 3 seconds. An also, avoid traveling side-by-side with another vehicle. This will give you a chance to stop or avoid a potential accident.

3) Give yourself plenty of time to reach your destination. Rushing will substantially increase your chance of being involved in an accident.

4) Avoid an aggressive driving behavior. Aggressive driving is the OPPOSITE of safe driving.

Road accident is a very bad and dengerous thing.it can hamper our life.It canbe reduced if we are aware.So i request all students of DIU please work for the raising of awareness among people.

The causes are not entirely unknown but need to be restated. The major ones include (1) rapid increase in the number of vehicles, (ii) more paved roads leading to higher speed, (iii) inconsistent road-use environment, lack of signs and markings and road surface, (iv) poor-driving and road use knowledge, skill and awareness, (v) poor traffic management and enforcement, (vi) lack of appropriate road safety interventions and (vii) poor medical services.

If our bus driver are must proper trainer and he must the licensed by the government  approved and If Govt. aware about of it then the road accident will decrease.

sethy:
Today I face an accident. A wheel of a C.N.G auto rickshaw go through on my foot. I am lucky that I didn't get much more pain. Everybody should more conscious about road accident.
