Note : যা interest এর সৃষ্টি করে তা হলো interesting আর যে interest পায় সে হলো interested.

4. Incorrect : I shall get farther information.
Correct : I shall get further information.
Note : দূরত্ব (more distant) বোঝাতে comparative degree তে farther এবং আরও (additional) বোঝাতে further বসে।
5. Incorrect : They have less books than I have.
Correct : They have fewer books than I have.
Note : Comparative degree তে countable noun এর বেলায় fewer এবং uncountable noun এর বেলায় less বসে।
6. Incorrect : You should keep your hands clear.
Correct : You should keep your hands clean.
Note : Clean হচ্ছে পরিষ্কার অর্থাৎ যা ময়লা নয় এবং clear হচ্ছে স্বচ্ছ।
7. Incorrect : I have a poetry to learn by heart.
Correct : I have a poem to learn by heart.
Note : Poetry হলো uncountable noun এবং poem হলো countable noun.
8. Incorrect : I have met a fat gentleman today.
Correct : I have met a fat man today.
Note : যখন কারো কোন বৈশিষ্ট্য বা চরিত্রকে নির্দেশ করা হবে তখন সবসময় man বসবে, gentleman হবে না।
9. Incorrect : I want to buy three dozens eggs.
Correct : I want to buy three dozen eggs.
Note : Dozen শব্দের পূর্বের number বসলে তা কখনও plural হয় না, সর্বদা singular হয়।এরকম আরো কিছু সংখ্যাবাচক শব্দ হলো- pair, score, hundred, thousand, million, billion etc.
10. Incorrect : He has good knowledges of history.
Correct : He has a good knowledge of history.
Note : ‘Knowledge’ uncountable noun তাই কখনও plural হবে না।
