Bangladesh's new pace sensation Mustafizur Rahman set another world record of grabbing most wickets in a 1-day international (ODI) series played between two countries. The 19-year-old fast bowler from Satkhira took 13 wickets in the three-match ODI series against India to share the record of Australian pacer Ryan Harris who made the record in ODI series against Pakistan in 2010. Mustafiz’s success came against two-time World Cup champions India in the 3rd match of the series at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur in Dhaka on Wednesday. On his way to making the history, the left hander claimed Rohit Sharma and Suresh Rayna conceding 57 runs in his 10 overs spell in the third match following his six wickets in the second match and five-for in the first match. The fearsome fast bowler also made the world record of taking 11 wickets in the first two matches of career leapfrogging Zimbabwean bowler Brian Vitori who took 10 wickets in his first two matches of career. The stunning performance of Mustafiz helped Bangladesh seal the series against the cricket giants India. The Tigers clinched the historic first-ever ODI series against Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s India beating the visitors by six wickets in the second match at the same venue on Sunday following an emphatic 79-run victory in the first match of the series on Thursday (June 18), according to a news agency.
