The orientation program for the newly enrolled undergraduate students of Fall-2014 semester at Uttara Campus of Daffodil International University was held on November 22, 2014 at campus Auditorium.
Professor Dr. Md. Golam Rahman, Acting Vice Chancellor (Pro-Vice Chancellor) was present as chief guest in the orientation program.
Presided over by Prof. Dr. ANM Jahangir Kabir, Academic Director (Uttara Campus), the function was addressed, among other by Prof. Dr. SM Mahbub-Ul-Haque Majumder, Dean, Faculty of Science and Information Technology, Prof. Rafiqul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics, Prof. Dr. Golam Mowla Choudhury, Proctor and Controller of Examination, Mr. Anil Chandra Paul, Director (Uttara Campus), Mr. Mohammed Masul Iqbal, Head, Department of Business Administration, Ms. Farhana Helal Mehtab, Head, Department of Law, Ms. Umme Kulsum, Head, Department of English of DIU.
Professor Dr. Md. Golam Rahman said to the newlyenrolled undergraduate students to make the best use of the resources provided by the university and make them fit to face the challenges to the 21st century. Daffodil International University is doing well in all respects. Commitment, transparency and quality of education made the university renowned. DIU provides its students with many facilities to pursue their studies and hone their skills.
The program was conducted by Mr. Md. Raziur Rahman,Senior Lecturer, Department of Law, Ms. Rabeya Binte Habib, Lecturer, Department of English and progamme included introduction session, presentation session, briefing session and Cultural session.
