Jurisprudence vs. Sociology
According to Salmond, jurisprudence is the knowledge of law and in that sense all books of law are can be considered as books of jurisprudence. The sociologists are the jurists. The attitude of them towards the laws is different that of a lawyer who is concerned in profession rules and regulation that are obeyed by the people. There are some books on law which are made for the society. A lawyer is interested to frame and execute the law in the society. There is another subject that is social jurisprudence which deals with the social problem. The causes of crimes are partly sociological factor and the law deals this matter. The sociological jurisprudence gives emphasis on the law and society.

Jurisprudence vs. Psychology
Psychology is defined as the science of mind and behavior. In the study of criminal jurisprudence we can discuss the criminal mind and behavior of human being.  Intention, motive and malice are responsible are responsible for crime. In criminology, psychology plays an important part. It is the duty of a lawyer to understand the criminal and working of criminal mind. Jurisprudence is concerned with the man’s external conduct.   

Jurisprudence vs. Ethics
Ethics has been defined as the science of human conduct. It deals with how man behaves and what should be the ideal human behavior. It is concerned with the good and proper human conduct in the light of public opinion. There is a separate branch of ethical jurisprudence which examines the ethical behavior of a man and gives suggestion to resolve it. Some ethical rules are crime and some are not crime. Laws are meant for regulating human conduct.


Jurisprudence vs. Economics
Economics is the science of wealth and jurisprudence is the science of law. Economics studies man’s efforts in satisfying his wants and producing and distributing the wealth. Economic factors are responsible for crimes. Economics problems arise day to day and lawyers should tackle this. The aim of the economics is to improve the standard of life and the aim of law is to promote the social and economic welfare. There are some laws such as labor laws, factory laws, insurance and son which deal with the economic matter.
