Cell phone and our students
mamun:
Good and authentic write up from Rashed Sir. Thank you.
Cell Phone, a mania, has created a bad impact by misusing it. It’s a great invention, no doubt but we have to seize the good effects from it by using in a proper way.
Shah - Al - Mamun:
Dear Sir,
I agree with you. Life has much to offer us. So spending all our time with just one little thing like mobile phone is really wrong. It is true that mobile phone technology has given us a lot of benefits but we must stay within the limit. Every thing has a bad effect if we exceed the limit. Let us all utilize our time and reserve time for every thing that life offers.
Regards,
Shah - Al - Mamun

Dear Sir,
Actually we should counsel them and make them understood that any discoveries of science is a weapon in our hand and we should use these for our well being. We can confront one horizon before them and let themselves judge that they will use and utilize these for their betterment or for ugly obsession/ wastage of valuable time. And it only depends on their sweet and honest will. So we need to make them understood we can use mobile phone only for keeping useful communication/need and nothing else. We can only use them but not love or obsession which can be harmful.
From our childhood we had frequently done one debate"Is science a curse or blessing?". After all debating, at last we come to one decision and that is science is an weapon. And the usage of science depends on the honest and sincere will of human being. Human being can use science for their betterment or destruction.
So we should be cautious about our well being.

I wonder, how the students manage to buy the expensive handsets they display! besides, the fnf facility has given them the opportunity to talk long for the lowest possible tariff. Moreover, the free hours ( perhaps the whole night) offered by some cell-phone companies encourage the youngsters to talk long.
If the students are not aware themselves, the situation may go to worse.

I would like to discuss the power of Association here. If a student wants to get good or better at something, then it just makes sense to be with other students who are as good or better that he or she is at that thing. For example, i used to play a lot of cricket in my childhood. I couldn't improve my bowling. If i bowl, i will never get better if the only people i bowl with are less skilled that i am. To get better as a bowler, i'd bowl with people slightly better than i was, who would challenge me, from who i could learn by observing. That's why.. Will Rogers said, a person only learns in two ways, one by reading, and the other by association with smarter people."
Madam, some of our students don't know what they are doing and why they are doing so. Every action should have specific objectives without which we can't develop further.
Let us work together to improve, better say, change the values and perception and life styles of our students that they lack in intensity, actuality, reflection and contemplation.
