Meeting on 8th February,2016

Today on 8th February we had a meeting with VC sir.The IEB team members were present in the meeting including Dr. Md. Asraf Ali,Md. Khaled Sohel,Md.Rashed Karim,Tasnuba Jesmin,Nazia Nishat,Md. Fahad Bin Zamal,Kaushik Sarker,Khalid Been Badruzzaman. In the meeting we discussed about design of teaching methodology,course curriculum and assessment.We came to know that we should design teaching techniques in a way that it represents practical skills of a student.Assessment will be also based on class practices.

Nazia,

Thank you for the post on the meeting today. Hope you all continued the meeting till you all came to a solid conclusion of how to move forward.

If I may request you/others to give a brief summary of the what the three areas of curriculum development, teaching method and assessment are supposed to do. Basically, what agreement was reached at the end of the meeting between the teams.

Dear sir.
I am adding the understanding of Curriculum,Teaching Method ,Assessment shared by us all.

The discussion on 3 topics is summarized below.

Curriculum -> Course objectives, topics, skills to be tested and how

Teaching Method -> How to engage student in thinking about the subject and how to give practice in solving simulated "wrong" solutions

Assessment -> How to help students identify gaps in the steps of the subject
