Dear All,
We live in a world full of violence and corruption but all of us have dreams to live in a peaceful world. If we look around us, go through the newspapers, watch television and listen to radios we will find that majority of the events and news are about violence and corruption. Do we ever want to prevent all these violence and corruptions from the deepest part of our hearts? Do we ever think of ways to end all these chaos? Do we ever try to understand why and how these violence and corruption taking place?
In today’s world there are many men who try to exploit or abuse girls and women. The word “Eve Teasing†is known to almost everybody. Even so, with all our efforts, we are unable to find a proper solution of these problems. A lot of us think this way: What will happen if I do this little crime? Only my work cannot do any grave change to this world. Many of the people will not even know of my crime. Think it for a moment. Let’s open our eyes and see. Is this corrupted world created of its own? The truth is the little thought that is mentioned above is the reason behind this. We have to change our views.
We have to remember that we have mothers and sisters of our own. How will we react if we come to know that our female relatives are getting harassed by some wretched people? Tremendous rage will make us blind of anger and hatred. Why we do it then? Why do something to others which we cannot tolerate ourselves?
All who are reading this mail please realize that it is up to you and you only to change this world to a peaceful garden. Let us be respectful towards all the girls and women in this world. Let us stop harassing girls and women. Only then it will be possible to end the cycle of hatred that is consuming our world.
With this above mentioned realization Daffodil International University has taken decision that if anyone in DIU is found harassing girls or women by any means he will be severely punished and will not be compromised.
