Lazminur Alam:
Post Graduate Diploma in Information Science & Library Management has launched in Daffodil International University from Summer'2016 semester. The department name is Information Science & Library Management (ISLM) under the faculty of Humanities & Social Science.

The program is one year & equally distributed in three semester duration basis & each semester is four months duration. All classes will be conducted in the evening.

Admission eligibility is, the candidate shall have a graduate degree in any discipline or its equivalent degree.

Program Objective:
The aim of this program is to establish the significance of the dynamic role of information & library work in today's information society & knowledge based economy. And to develop the knowledge & skills needed to handle effectively the strong, retrieval, analysis & communication of information.

The program provides students with a professionally & nationally recognized qualification in library & information management & prepares students  for career as skilled librarians or knowledge and information management professionals.
