Transportatoin Facility

    The public universities of our country have transport facility for their students.As well as Many of the Private universities have already provided the transportation facility to thier students.we have some transports but espicially for stuffs.Many of the students come from savar,mirpur,shaymoly,khilgong and so on.So I request the Authority to consider this problem for our betterment.

It is our one of the remarkable achievement that, DIU has already incorporated transport facilities to its feather. A couple of transports are plying to carry members of DIU family. Gradually we will implement more transports throughout Dhaka and its suburbs. For Details regarding transport, you may contact with Mr.Najim Uddin Sharker, Assistant Director (Planning &Development) at Main Building, DIU.

Our university provides transportation facility for the students of DIU.It is so small now.But it will be increasing.Because huge transportation facility can create our  good image.Our student can helped by that.

Earlier we had to hire transport from out side but now we can go by transport of our own for study tour,Mill Visit,Picnic.Isnt that g8?Though the transports are for Office staff but it carries students as well.We have a plan to increase the number also.I really take pride when I see our Bus with DIU logo roaming around on the heart of the city.I do believe you do the same.

Some days ago our DIU authority can take the transport facility for all DIU students. Its ver helpful for all students. But one problem, The bus start at 2.00 pm, at that time we have a class and we can go by our campus bus. If authority can take any action, we the students are very glad and happy.

sir, is it possible to travel at present time? is there any time schedule for us?
because our class starts at 8:30 & breaks @ 4:00.

DIU provides transport facility through a modern Nissan Civilian Minibus and Toyota Hiace Grancabine Microbus. All transports are open for all (students, faculty and admin. people). You all are encouraged to use the facility.

The rout and time schedules of transports are as follows-


Nissan Civilian Minibus:

Morning  Rout: Mirpur 12  to  DIU via Mirpur 11, 10, 6, 2, 1, Ansar Camp, Bangla College, Kallanpur, Shymoli, Adabor, Shia Mosque, Nurjahan Road, Asadgate 

Time:  7.35am from Mirpur
 

Evening Rout: DIU  to  Mirpur 12

Time: 6.00 pm from DIU


Toyota Hiace Grandcabine:

Morning  Rout: Uttara  to  DIU

Time:  7.35 am from Uttara
 

Evening Rout: DIU  to  Uttara

Time: 5.30 pm from DIU

thank you Mr.Najim sir to inform us.though there are only two mini buses but many of us did not take this opportunity due to ignore about the time schedule when the buses come & go.so by knowing this time schedule some of us can be benefited..But sir i request the authority to take steps about it in a large scale...
