The Almighty Allah says,

"When a servant thinks of Me, I am near.
When he invokes Me, I am with him.
If he reflects on Me in secret, I reply in secret,
And if he acknowledges Me in an assembly,
I acknowledge him in a far superior assembly."

Emran Hossain:

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
ALL praise is due to Almighty ALLAH(SWT), Lord of the Worlds


Narrated By Anas : The Prophet said, "Whoever said "None has the right to be worshiped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of a barley grain will be taken out of Hell. And whoever said: "None has the right to be worshiped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of a wheat grain will be taken out of Hell. And whoever said, "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of an atom will be taken out of Hell."

-Bukhari, Vol 01, Book 02, Hadith Number 42.

হযরত আনাস (রা) থেকে বর্ণিতঃ
রাসুলুল্লাহ (সা) বলেছেন,“যে বলেছে ‘লা ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহ (আল্লাহ ছাড়া কোন উপাস্য নাই)’ এবং তার অন্তরে একটি যবের দানা পরিমাণ ঈমান থাকে, তাকে জাহান্নাম থেকে বার করে আনা হবে। আর যে বলেছে ‘লা ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহ’ এবং তার অন্তরে একটি গমের দানা পরিমাণ ঈমান থাকে তাকে জাহান্নাম থেকে বার করে আনা হবে। এবং যে বলেছে ‘লা ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহ’ ও তার অন্তরে একটি অণূর ওজনের সমতূল্য ঈমান থাকে তাকে জাহান্নাম থেকে বার করে আনা হবে।

In a Hadith of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) it is narrated that,

“Whosoever has in his heart, even a atom of pride he will not enter paradise.”

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
" قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: الْكِبْرِيَاءُ رِدَائِي، وَالْعَظَمَةُ إِزَارِي، فَمَنْ نَازَعَنِي وَاحِدًا مِنْهُمَا، قَذَفْتُهُ فِي النَّارِ".

رواه أبو داود(وكذلك ابن ماجه وأحمد) بأسانيد صحيحة.(1)

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may ALLAH be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said:

"ALLAH (mighty and sublime be He) said:Pride is My cloak and greatness My robe, and he who competes with Me in respect of either of them I shall cast into Hell-fire.


[Abu Dawud (also by Ibn Majah and Ahmad) with sound chains of authority. This Hadith also appears in Muslim in another version.]

"I am so self-sufficient that I am in no need of having an associate. Thus he who does an action for someone else's sake as well as Mine will have that action renounced by Me to him whom he associated with Me."

It was related by Muslim (also by Ibn Majah).
