These days, people have been found studying or talking about the subject area of marketing. Kotler is known as the father of marketing even he himself is an Economics graduate. As a discipline, marketing is not a discipline at all. It is just the combination of two poles in economics namely consumer economics and producer economics. From the perspective of producer economics , it performs activities unlike any business concern and the functions of marketing are involved there as well. From the perspective of consumer economics, it deals with the consumer decision making, budget and other consideration. Marketing is not an independent discipline. It is just two simple economics subjects married together by some ambitious individuals.
