This study was carried out to identify and measure the Practices and Effectiveness of Advertisingused by several real estate companies in Bangladesh using primary and secondary data collected form virtual network and survey. Out of hundreds companies, 5 were selected for this study. Depending on the information provided by real estate developers& internet, effective marketing promotional tools were identified and measured their effectiveness in five real estate companies namely Amin Mohammad Group, Navana, Dom-inno, Biswas Builders ltd, Boshodha Builders Ltd. To know current situation about the IMC tools application, a survey was conducted in quest for information from real estate holders. As in today‘s global society, marketers are faced with the difficult task of becoming more effective with intended promotion and at the same time marketers have less money at the disposal. Moreover, it is also more difficult for companies to reach the target group due to the technology advancements and due to the increased number of competitors at the market. Therefore, companies are forced to become even more effective. It is hoped that this study will reveal the promotional tools which are used by these real estate companies and offer a way to measure their effectiveness that will be helpful for overcoming these difficulties. This paper reviews research regarding ways of measuring the communication effects of the advertising tools including TV, Newspaper, brochure, Billboard etc. The synergistic effects of various tools of advertising are also reviewed.
