Tree Plantation Program at DIU Permanent Campus

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman is inaugurating tree plantation program at Permanent Campus of Daffodil International University at Ashulia while other officials are seen with him

Daffodil International University (DIU) organized a tree Plantation program at its own campus at Ashulia on August 06, 2011. Prof. Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, honorable Vice Chancellor of the university was present on the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Tree Plantation program was also attended by Emeritus Professor Dr. Aminul Islam, Prof. Dr. Mahabub - Ul Haque Majumder, Dean, Faculty of Science and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Golam Maowla Chowdhury, Proctor & Head, Department of ETE, Prof. Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Registrar, Dr. Md. Mostafa Kamal, Director (HRDI), Mr. Mezbah Ur Rashid Manik, Sr. Assistant Director, Mr. Najim Uddin Sarkar, Assistant Director, Mr. Ahemed Shamim Ansary, Sr. Administrative Officer and other high officials of DIU were present. Under this program around 200 Seedlings of different variety were planted all over the permanent campus area.

It may be mentioned here that DIU has taken a Master plan to shape up the University as a full fledged university providing all sorts of facilities required for a complete university on 10 Acres of land for its own permanent campus   at Ashulia in the serene, calm and quiet, green and open atmosphere free from hustle and bustle of Dhaka city. The construction work of the Permanent Campus is going on in full swing. The Master Project will be implemented in four phases and it will have Administrative blocks, Assemble halls, departmental faculties, ICT center, and other facilities.

It is a very good work. We can arrange a tree plantation programme among our university students. I think it is very effective for our univeristy and our country.

Tree plantation of permanent campus is really good work. Its not only our permanent campus its also dream campus.
