"The snake charms the charmer"
 
The snake charms the charmer--
A familiar story in narcotic circles.
Look calamity in the eye
Boldly with the flute in hand
And a lung with tuneful air.
Look calamity in its spiral pit
And feel sorcery caressing you
All over stirring arcane designs,
Tugging at your cold blood
In violet ripples.
