Shah Alam Kabir Pramanik:
Definition of Stress:
Stress is a dynamic condition in which an individual is confronted with an opportunity, a demand or a resource related to what the individual desires and for which the outcome is perceived to be both uncertain and important.
According to Newstorm and K. Davis- “Stress is the general term applied at the pressure people feel in life.”
According to Griffing- “Stress is an individual’s response to a strong stimulas.”
Finally we can that; stress may be positive or negative. It is better for an organization if is positive. And if stress is negative the organization may fail to achieve its objectives.
