Definition of organizational Environment
   Environment means the surroundings where some things operate, it includes soil, weather, air, water, people structure etc. Organizations environment means the surroundings where the organization operates and it include- people, structure, competitors, technology etc.

   Organizational environment refers to the forces that can make an impact. Forces made up opportunities and threats. Organizations does not exist in isolation, it works with the overall environment.

   According to Robbins, “An organization’s environment is composed of institutions or forces outside the organization that potentially affect the organization’s performance.”

   Finally organizational environment is the forces outside the organization that potentially affect the organizations performance.
