Q'comm Names CTO, Girds for NXP Influx

Qualcomm appointed James Thompson, EVP of engineering at Qualcomm Technologies, as the company’s new CTO. Thompson is responsible for R&D activities in all wireless chipsets in QCT, semiconductor business. He will oversee the companywide technical and product roadmaps.
