Razon Mahmood:
Sometime our learning is not very much effective as we read that for getting grade. Even we don't feel interest in the subject. But whether we, the students of English Language and Literature, feel interest in the course related subjects or not, learning English is must. I acknowledge that there is no such a good source like books to learn something. But we, sometimes, need practical examples to learn something.

We spend a lot of time browsing the Internet, especially facebook, youtube, bolgs etc. We can learn English browsing the Internet. BBC is a great source for learning English. There are various sections such as , Grammar, Vocabulary, Pronunciation, General and Business English etc. The most interesting section that I have found is pronunciation. There are some videos which show how to pronounce English sounds; there are many examples which will make anyone clear about the differences between the sounds. (BBC pronunciation tips http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/grammar/pron/).

Vocabulary is another interesting section from where we can learn new vocabularies. Moreover, we can get the meanings of difficult words while reading a report. Follow the link for words in news-

Anyone who is interested can attend on-line quizzes. Don't get afraid…..no one is going to reduce your grade!!! Just update yourself and test your English skill……..
