It sounds funny though but-
What does " aa" mean? and where did it appear first?

Colleague Rafi has discovered where "aa" appeared first. But I'm still looking for the meaning of the word really. I know something about the modern use of "aa" in the countries where English is spoken as L1. I'll come back to you when you find  out the original meaning of "aa." Thank you all who are responding.
