The two most popular features regarding cell phones are Android and 3G. So far, I understand Android is an operating system and 3G is high speed third generation mobile network service. I think, if anyone have more clear ideas regarding these two words should tell us about their distinctive features.

Yes you are right 3G is upgraded version of EDGE. It is known as High mobile broadband service.Although  4G is available in Europe.

Android is a operating system By Google.Android is now available for ARM Based mobile CPU. Android now more popular then nokia symbian operating system.Recent time 42% mobile user use Android OS base phone
