Mini survey in your course!

(1/2) > >>

shamshoque:
Dear Colleagues,
We need your support in this. Please help us with just a couple of minutes for a class survey. Just ask the students:
1. "How many of you would like the lessons to be in 100% English?"
The students will respond by raising  hands only. You note the result in a piece of paper how many out how many raised their hands.
Then ask a second question:
2. How many of you would like 10%-20% lecture in Bengali and the rest in English?
The students will raise their hands and you please take count to note how many among how many raised their hands.
Then please post the results in this string in Forum.
Thank you for your help.

Sorry to see no one responses.

Afroza Akhter Tina:
In one of my classes,I asked the questions and got the following responses:

1.10 students out of 15 said that they would like the lessons to be in 100% English and they are comfortable in using English.(Some have English medium background).

2. 5 students said they would prefer more than 10%-20% lecture in Bangla and the rest in English as they are not familiar with such a classroom where the medium of instruction is 100% English.A mixture of both Bangla and English will help them understand the lessons more appropriately.

Tina,
Very smart. You ARE on the way to....... Na, let me keep it for the moment but I'm impressed with your extra-academic activities. In this particular case, I hope, colleagues will be encouraged to participate in the mini survey for an important research. A massive "than  you", to you, little Professor.
