Non Communicable Diseases: 59% of total deaths in Bangladesh

Dr Alauddin Chowdhury:
   In 1986, NCDs represented only 8% of total deaths compared to 52% of deaths due to communicable diseases whereas in 2014, NCDs are estimated to account for 59% of total deaths;
