The students of Daffodil International University are hereby notified that if anybody does not want to register for any semester, he/she must inform the authority of this just at the beginning of that semester by filling up a form available on September 05, 2012 in the DIU education ERP system. Otherwise an amount of Tk. 1000/- (one thousand taka) has to be paid for the subsequent registration as compensation fees.

NOTICE for the Registration of Fall-2012 Semester

It is hereby notified to all the students of Dept. of Textile Engineering that their course registration for the Fall-2012 Semester will be held from September 10 to September 13, 2012 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm in Room no 201 according to the following schedule. The Faculty Members will help the students in the registration process. Without the course registration, students will not be allowed to enter into the class and their name and ID will not be recorded in the attendance register.

From the International Affairs desk of Daffodil International University, a talk show about Cultural View Exchange is going to organize for the students of every department. A Russian speaker and prominent Chess Player Ms. Veronica Minina (International Woman Master) will be the speaker for this talk show. The purpose of this talk show is to:

 Adapt different customs from another influence.

 Promote mutual understanding between Russia and Bangladesh.

 Transferring of ideas, customs, beliefs, etc.

 Know about St-Petersburg State University.

(Final Improvement Examination)


Students of the Faculty of Science & Information Technology, willing to sit for the Final improvement examination (Summer-2012), are advised to submit their application to the respective Head of the department on or before September 20, 2012. They are also advised to get clearance from the accounts section by paying 40% of the individual course fee. It should be noted that the students who earned grade I, F or less than B may apply to sit for the improvement examination

The improvement examination will be held on September 22-25, 2012 (the exact date and time of the examination will be announced later).

Notice

Subject: Project, Industrial Attachment, & Comprehensive Viva

The Comprehensive Viva (TE-411) of Fall-2012 semester will be held from December 01, 2012 (Saturday). Defense of Project (Summer 2012) & Industrial attachment viva of Fall-2012 will be held after completion of Comprehensive Viva (TE-411). Further details will be notified later. In this regard concerned students are suggested to submit one copy of their Project/Thesis & Internship report with CD to the department on or before 30th November 2012.



Both the project thesis and industrial attachment report must be written as per DIU guidelines which is available in the DIU Forum or students can collect from their supervisors.



Students must clear their dues by 30th November 2012. If anybody fails to clear his/her dues within the aforementioned date, his/her comprehensive viva , project presentation & industrial attachment will not be held.
