Job Area: Event.


No of Position: 03(Three).

Educational Qualification: Fresh Graduate (BBA/English graduate will get preference), with exemplary academic excellence from Daffodil International University.

 
Main Responsibilities:

    To develop events tools like themes, message, purpose,
    To identification and booking of all contributors,
    To liaising with speakers, performers, venues and other suppliers,
    To ensure all PA and Audio Visual and promotional elements,
    Event setup, marketing, ticketing & provide all sorts of logistic support.

 

Job Requirements:

    Relevant experience in Event Management,
    Understanding of media, web, design, TVC is desirable,
    Driving license with motor cycle will be considered as advantage,
    Self-starter, innovative, ready to work under pressure & able to complete task within deadline,
    Excellent written capacity in English and Computer literacy (MS programs, Internet knowledge),
    Willing to Travel outside of Dhaka.


Experience:  Not required, Fresh Graduates are highly encouraged to apply.


Remuneration: Attractive remuneration package will be given to suitable candidate.

It is hereby notified to all the students of Dept. of Textile Engineering that the course registration for the Summer-2013 Semester will be held from May 12 to May 16, 2013 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm in Room no 201 according to the following schedule. The Faculty Members will help the students in the registration process. Without the course registration, students will not be allowed to enter into the class and their name and ID will not be recorded in the attendance register.

Improvement following Final Examination: Spring Semester 2013


Students of the Faculty of Science & Information Technology (FSIT) and Department of NFE, willing to sit for the improvement following final examination (Spring 2013), are advised to get clearance from the accounts section by paying required fees for each course and submit their application to the respective department by May 22, 2013.

The improvement examination will be held from May 27 - 30, 2013. The exact date and time of the examination will be announced by the exam committee members of each department.

Students will not be allowed to sit for the examination if found without wearing ID CARD with DIU ribbon in the examination hall.

All the students with initial part of ID number 113 under the scheme “One Student: One Laptop” are requested to be present on 01 June (Saturday) 2013 at sharp 10:00 am in the DIU Auditorium, Campus-3 to attend the laptop distribution ceremony and to make this event successful.

 

It is to be mentioned that the distribution of Laptop will be made on that particular date only from booth. Eligible students are requested to come to the lounge of Campus-3 (Level-4) and collect laptop from the distribution booth. Distribution of laptops will be started at sharp 8:00 AM till 9:30 AM.

Subject: Project, Industrial Attachment, & Comprehensive Viva

The Comprehensive Viva (TE-411) of Summer-2013 semester will be held from July 15, 2013 (Monday). Defense of Project (TE407) of Spring- 2013 & Industrial attachment viva (TE410) of Summer-2013 will be held after completion of Comprehensive Viva (TE-411). Further details will be notified later. In this regard concerned students are suggested to submit one copy of their Project/Thesis & Internship report with CD to the department on or before July 11, 2013.

Both the project thesis and industrial attachment report must be written as per DIU guidelines which is available in the DIU Forum or students can collect from their supervisors.

Students must clear their dues by July 11, 2013. If anybody fails to clear his/her dues within the aforementioned date, his/her comprehensive viva , project presentation & industrial attachment will not be held.
